Sean Riches works internationally in the fields of personal, team and organizational development. Before consulting, Sean's career spanned financial services, civil aviation and logistics.

 

He has worked for global organizations including Unilever, Oracle and Paramount Films, facilitating programmes with delegates from over 45 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His success as a consultant is based on nearly 20 years' commercial experience; many spent in front line management roles. As a result his style, which is lively and engaging, is firmly based on rapid application to the work place.

 

Sean designed and delivered a series of Change Leadership training workshops to support a large transformation programme for the UK's second biggest on-line business. It was rolled out across the entire UK management population. He led several aspects of a large change project covering Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports. Starting on day 1 and seeing it through to the final handover 18 months later, Sean led a workstream covering process design, staff engagement and training, ultimately delivering an entirely new Operations Planning function of 180 people over 3 locations. Sean designed and facilitated a conference attended by delegates from UK and EU aviation organizations to redesign UK airspace for the 2012 Olympics.

 

Sean is a visiting lecturer in Organizational Change at King's College London, running practitioner seminars on four International Masters Programmes.

 

With a degree in Applied Psychology, Sean is an accredited Chartered Management Institute training consultant, a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Member of the Association for Coaching. Outside of work he is a governor of a South London comprehensive school and holds qualifications in mountaineering, canoeing and sailing but remains a distinctly unqualified skier.
