Sarah Dorey



Sarah has more than twenty years experience as a researcher. She has worked at several of leading marketing consultancies and branding agencies, most recently, as Knowledge Manager at The Brand Union, part of WPP Group plc, for ten years.


Sarah established her own business, In a Nutshell, in March 2008. She prides herself on being an expert in finding and drawing key insights from information and intelligence of all kinds from a wide variety of sources.


The first projects Sarah worked on were European Commission-funded export promotion programmes for the jewellery industries of Sri Lanka and Thailand. Since then, she has worked on projects across all industry sectors, including major INGOs, such as Plan, as well as the UK's leading cancer charity, Cancer Research UK. Other clients have included Aldar Properties, Allianz, Carillion, Credit Suisse, Deloitte, Emaar, Galleries Lafayette, Getty Images, Institute of Chartered Accountants, Jacques Vert, Johnnie Walker, Land Securities, Learning and Skills Council, Motorola, Places for People, Premier League, SABMiller and Vodafone.
